The comedy drama is a family entertainer, which was indeed one of the awaited Bollywood movies. The movie got a decent opening at the Indian box office. Akshay's Entertainment has opened in 2800 screens in India. It is reported that after Kick and Ek Villain, Entertainment which is made on a budget of Rs 80 crore, has got a good first day opening collections. Reportedly, the 1st Day collections of Entertainment is about 11.16 crores at the Box Office.
Akshay Kumar's Entertainment's first show had good response and it maintained its momentum during noon shows. While most of the audience comprises of youngsters, there are also young kids who are coming to watch Akshay Kumar's Entertainment solely for the dog.

Entertainment has got brilliant opening at the UAE Box Office on the first day. Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#Entertainment opened in UAE-GCC on Thursday and has collected approx AED 475,000 [Rs 79.37 lacs] on its opening day. Good!"
The Akshay Kumar and Tamannaah Bhatia starrer is a comedy flick, which shows the life of a struggling guy Akhil Lokhande (played by Akshay Kumar) who gets lucky when he comes to know that his father has left behind a huge sum of money. The movie has a nice blend of comedy, confusion, entertainment and drama.
Entertainment is in fact solely based on the pet dog, who is named Entertainment in the movie. With the weekend, the box office response of Entertainment is expected to fare well.
