Haider (Friday) Second Day Collection At Box Office

Haider starring Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj is doing fairly well even on the second day at the Indian Box Office. The movie wasn't a crowd puller per se owing to the serious tone of the film but still it managed to do decent business at Box Office and raked in a total of Rs 6. 14 crores on the very first day of the release.

The film has been appreciated by many viewers, even the critics are singing praises for the film. The story is set in an unrest Kashmiri background where a young boy is desperate to avenge his father's death.

Worldwide the audience has loved the movie, but Haider has shown best performance in metro cities like Mumbai, Pune, Delhi/NCR, Bangalore and Hyderabad. Having opened to a good 60% occupancy rate and grossing a decent Rs 6.14 crores at the Box Office, the movie is said to do better business over the weekend.

Hrithik Roshan's Bang Bang has been thrashed by critics as well of viewers but still it managed to rake in Rs 27.54 crores. But Haider has picked up the revenue over the second day owing to good word of mouth promotions. People have started to spread good views about the movie, due to these good ratings from people the film has reportedly managed to rake in Rs 10 crores, a rough estimate provided by the trade experts.

So the total box office collection at the end of two days would approximately be Rs 15 crores, having been made on a budget of Rs 24 crores, the film will surely recover the cost withing three days after which whatever money Haider will collect at the Box Office is just profit.
