opening
and
turned
out
to
be
another
biggest
Bollywood
money
spinner
of
2014.
Despite
facing
tough
competition
from
multilingual
film
Kochadaiyaan
and
Telugu
movie
Manam,
the
Tiger
Shroff
and
Kriti
Sanon
starrer
romantic-action
film
has
made
superb
collection
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
in
the
first
weekend
and
topped
the
domestic
business
chart.
It
has
got
a
big
break
to
debutante
actors.
Before
its
release,
Heropanti
was
riding
on
the
back
of
huge
hype
and
the
makers
had
had
massive
publicity
for
it
with
Tiger
Shroff
and
Kriti
Sanon
promoting
the
film
on
a
few
hit
TV
shows.
Released
in
2000
screens
on
May
23,
the
movie
was
expected
to
start
with
a
bang,
but
it
clashed
with
Kochadaiyaan
and
Manam.
It
registered
an
average
of
50%
occupancy
in
both
single
screens
and
multiplexes
on
Friday.
Heropanti
was
expected
to
show
big
leap
on
Saturday,
but
its
business
slipped
down
with
a
small
margin.
However,
the
movie
showed
big
jump
on
Sunday.
It
has
collected
Rs
21,33
crores
nett
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
in
the
first
weekend.
The
breakup
of
its
three
days
collection
is
Rs
6.63
cr
on
Fri,
Rs
6.42
cr
on
Sat
and
Rs
8.28
cr
on
Sun.
Produced
by
Sajid
Nadiadwala
with
a
whooping
budget,
Heropanti
has
recovered
more
than
60%
of
its
production
cost
in
just
three
days.
As
per
its
current
trends,
the
movie
is
likely
to
cross
Rs
35
crore
mark
at
the
India
Box
Office
in
the
first
week.
Bollywood
trade
expert
Taran
Adarsh
tweeted,
"First
