Heropanti (3 Days) First Weekend Collection At Overseas Box Office

Hindi movie Heropanti has received lukewarm response in the key international markets. The Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon starrer, which has enjoyed decent footfalls in the domestic market, has done poor collection at the overseas Box Office in the first weekend. Its business was affected by South Indian films like Manam and Kochadaiyaan, which are leading the race in all foreign countries.

Except in the UAE, Heropanti released in limited number of screens in key international markets on May 23 and opened to a lackluster start on its opening day. The movie did not release in the UK, where it has failed to an account. Whereas the Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon starrer had a large volume of release in the UAE, where it did not have any competitor from either South or North India. It has done fantastic business in this market.

The Sajid Nadiadwala-produced film Heropanti has collected Rs 13.37 lakhs ($ 22,750) from 15 screens in the USA, Rs 5.17 lakhs (US$ 8,806) from 5 screens in Canada, Rs 8.66 lakhs (A$ 15,998) from 6 screens in Australia, Rs 8.37 lakhs (NZ$ 16,736) from 5 screens in New Zealand and Rs 23,017 (MYR1,260) from 1 screens in Malaysia Box Office in the first weekend. The movie has collected Rs 1.78 crores (AED 1,112,000) in the UAE Box Office in three days.

Released in less than 200 screens, Heropanti has collected Rs 2.13 crores nett at the overseas Box Office in the first weekend. Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#Heropanti got eclipsed by the #Manam and #Kochadaiiyaan wave in key Overseas markets, but has managed impressive numbers in UAE-GCC."
