Akshay's Holiday (14 Days) 2nd Week Collection At Box Office

Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty has once again rocked at the Indian Box Office in the second week. Having done superb collection, the Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha starrer has beaten the new release Fugly and topped the domestic business chart again. But the movie has failed to surpass Rs 100 crore mark in 14 days.

The Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha starrer had collected Rs 68.63 crores nett from 3500 screens in sat the Indian Box Office in the first week. Having lost out a small share of screen count to the new release, Holiday witnessed more than 65% dip on its second Friday. The movie had a big jump over the weekend and it also did decent collection on the weekdays. But it failed to meet the expectations with a small margin.

Holiday has collected Rs 19.51 crores in its second weekend and Rs 11.44 crores on the weekdays. In its second week, the movie has raked in Rs 30.95 crores at the Indian Box Office, taking its 14-day domestic collection to Rs 99.58 crores nett. Its breakup is Rs 4.40 cr on Fri, Rs 6.34 cr on Sat, Rs 8.77 cr on Sun, Rs 3.18 cr on Mon, Rs 2.97 cr on Tue, Rs 2.73 cr on Wed and Rs 2.50 cr on Thu.

Bollywood trade analysts had predicted that Holiday would cross Rs 100 crore mark at the Indian Box Office in its second week. But the movie has fallen short of Rs 42 lakhs in reaching this magical number. It will definitely achieve this mark on its third Friday. However, its rocking run will be halted by Saif Ali Khan's much-awaited movie Humshakals, which has released in theatres today.
