Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty opened to an average response in foreign countries, but showed superb growth on the following days. It may not be a brilliant Box Office success, but the movie has fared well and the makers seem to be happy with the results.
The Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha starrer achieved brilliant collection at the Overseas Box Office in the second weekend as well. The numbers are not as high as his previous releases like Boss and Rowdy Rathore in the international markets. Analysing the business of Holiday, Bollywood trade expert Taran Adarsh writes, "Overseas total *after Weekend 2* is approx $ 3.416 million [Rs 20.52 cr]."
Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty continues to perform very well in UAE-GCC and Pakistan. The Weekend 2 collection is better than Weekend 1, which says it all. Director A.R.Murugadoss too seems to be quite happy with the Box Office collection. The movie is a remake of his Tamil movie Thupakki which was also a Blockbuster hit. The director has even signed Sonakshi Sinha for his next upcoming women oriented movie. With this movie doing farely well, we are eager to see what his next movie will be like. The curiosity level has already increased. With the movie's collection increasing slowly and steadily, it looks like by the next weekend, the movie may very well cross the 100 crore mark and Holiday might soon join the 100 crore club.
