Salman
Khan's
Jai
Ho
has
continued
to
keep
the
bells
ringing
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
in
the
second
week.
The
Sohail
Khan-directed
action
drama
has
once
again
topped
the
domestic
business
chart
in
the
second
weekend,
beating
Abhay
Deol's
much-hyped
movie
One
By
Two,
which
released
this
Friday.
It
has
surpassed
Rs
100
crore
mark
in
the
domestic
market
in
10
days.
Considering
the
huge
amount
of
dip
in
the
business
of
Jai
Ho
on
the
weekdays,
trade
experts
had
predicted
that
One
By
Two
would
completely
slow
down
its
collection
in
the
second
week.
With
the
latter
getting
negative
word
of
mouth,
the
Salman
Khan
and
Daisy
Shah
starrer
became
the
first
choice
for
many
film
goers
over
the
weekend.
When
compared
to
its
opening
day
collection,
Jai
Ho
showed
80%
drop
in
its
business
on
its
second
Friday,
but
it
gradually
grew
up
on
Saturday
and
Sunday.
In
the
second
weekend,
the
film
has
collected
Rs
13.9
crores
nett
at
the
Indian
Box
Office,
taking
its
10-day
domestic
total
to
Rs
102.68
crores
nett.
Its
breakup
is
Rs
3.40
cr
on
Fri,
Rs
4.50
cr
on
Sat
and
Rs
6
cr
on
Sun.
With
Dhoom
3
setting
new
benchmarks,
film
goers
expected
the
dream
run
of
Jai
Ho
to
spill
over
to
2014,
but
the
movie
has
failed
to
live
upto
the
mark.
While
Salman
Khan's
previous
releases
Ek
Tha
Tiger
and
Dabangg
2
took
just
five
to
six
days
to
cross
Rs
100
crore
mark,
his
latest
outing
has
struggled
to
achieve
these
numbers
in
10
days.
Its
business
is
lower
than
Ready,
which
released
in
2011.
