David Dhawan-directed Bollywood film Main Tera Hero (MTH), which released in theatres on April 4, has continued to keep the bells ringing at the Indian Box Office in the second week. The Varun Dhawan, Ileana D'Cruz and Nargis Fakhri starrer was expected to cross Rs 50 crore mark in the domestic market in the second weekend, but the romantic-action-comedy film has failed to achieve this benchmark in 10 days.
Having lost some amount of screen count for new release Bhootnath Returns, Main Tera Hero witnessed more than 75% dip in its business on its second Friday, when compared to its opening day collection. However, the movie went on strength on strength over the weekend. The film has collected Rs 7.50 crores nett at the Indian Box Office in the second weekend. Its breakup is Rs 1.50 cr on Fri, Rs 2.25 cr on Sat and Rs 3.75 cr on Sun.
Main Tera Hero, which had raked in Rs 38.48 crores in the domestic market in the first week, has collected Rs 45.98 crores nett at the Indian Box Office in 10 days and is fast heading towards Rs 50 crore mark. Considering its current pace of collection, Bollywood trade experts predict that the movie is likely to surpass this magical mark in the domestic market by the end of second week.
