Ragini MMS 2 has turned out to be one of the big money spinners at the domestic market, beating other new releases Lakshmi, Ankhon Dekhi and Gang Of Ghosts. The Sunny Leone starrer has done superb collection at the Indian Box Office in the first weekend and has beaten the record of her debut movie Jism 2, which had raked in Rs 21.52 crores in three days.
The promos of Ekta Kapoor-produced movie which had soared up the viewers' expectations to the sky high, debuted with a fantastic response. Though its night shows were affected by India-Pakistan cricket match, Ragini MMS 2 recorded good numbers at the Indian Box Office on the first day. But with the mixed reviews, the film failed to show a big leap in business on Saturday and Sunday.
Ragini MMS 2 has collected Rs 24.5 crores nett at the Indian Box Office in the first weekend. Its breakup is Rs 8.43 cr on Fri, Rs 7.29 cr on Sat and Rs 8.78 cr on Sun. Taran Adarsh writes, "Ragini MMS 2 has achieved what most Hindi films don't -- serpentine queues at cineplexes, House Full boards outside theatres and a solid weekend total. This, despite cricket matches making a dent in its biz over the weekend."
Sunny Leone's debut movie Jism 2, which was a big hit, had collected Rs 21.52 crores at the Indian Box Office in its opening weekend. Its breakup was Rs 75 lakhs in paid previews, Rs 7.99 cr on Fri, Rs 6.24 cr on Sat and Rs 6.54 crore on Sun. Her latest outing Ragini MMS 2 has smashed the record of Jism 2.
