Salman Khan's Kick is still minting money at the Indian Box Office in spite of Akshay Kumar's Entertainment giving a tough fight at the BO. Kick made a decent collection over the weekend and managed to put up a good show, with its competitor Entertainment hogging a bigger screen count.
Trade expert Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#Kick [Week 3] Fri 1.97 cr, Sat 2.94 cr, Sun 3.92 cr, Mon 1.69 cr. Grand total: ₹ 225.63 cr nett. India biz." The film collected 2.94 crores on its 3rd Saturday, 3.5 crores on 3rd Sunday and 1.69 crores yesterday, thus taking its total Box Office collections to Rs 225.63 crores at the domestic Box Office.
Kick has beaten Chennai Express Box Office records and as per the trade figures, Kick is now the second highest grossing movie of all time in India only behind Aamir Khan's Dhoom 3
But according to producer figures Chennai Express gross is Rs 227.13 crores which should be beaten sometime in this week itself. Before Ajay Devgn's Singham Returns releases, Kick should have beaten the record, as if it doesn't after the release of Rohit Shetty's movie, it will become impossible for it to beat.
Rohit Shetty is known as the Box Office King and he will give a tough competition to both Kick and Entertaiment. Kick is now number 2 on 100 crore club movies list in India and is number 4 on all time Top 10 Hindi movies worldwide list.
Kick is now highest grossing Salman Khan film in India as well as worldwide. According to Koimoi the worldwide gross collection as of the third weekend is said to be over Rs 354.24.
But Kick is the highest grossing Salman Khan movie overseas with a collection of over Rs 67.34 crores. Trade expert Tara Adarsh tweeted, "OVERSEAS: #Kick total *after Weekend 3*: approx $ 11 million + [Rs 67.34 cr+]. Salman Khan's HIGHEST GROSSER in intl markets."
