Shaadi Ke Side Effects 3 Days Collection At Overseas Box Office

Shaadi Ke Side Effects (SKSE) has turned out to be one of the big money spinners in the international market in 2014. The Saket Chaudhary-directed romance comedy film has made a fantastic business at the overseas Box Office in the first weekend and smashed the collection records of Farhan Akhtar's last outing Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Vidya Balan's previous releases Ghanchakkar and Kahaani.

The Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan starrer has collected Rs 2.97 crores ($479,056) from 89 screens in the USA, Rs 61.57 lakhs (US$99,290) from 19 screens in Canada, Rs 3.38 crores (AED 2,000,000) in the UAE, Rs 1.36 crore (£131,463) from 48 screens in the UK and Rs 80.50 lakhs (A$145,487) from 23 screens in the Australia Box Office in the first weekend. Shaadi Ke Side Effects has shattered the records of their previous outings in these countries.

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag had collected Rs 8.40 crores nett in the international market, while Ghanchakkar and Kahaani raked in Rs 4.10 crores and Rs 3.30 crore, respectively at the overseas Box Office in their opening weekend. Now, Shaadi Ke Side Effects, which is the first combo movie of Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan, has collected approximately Rs 11.18 crores ($1.8 million) at the overseas Box Office in the first weekend.
