Shaadi Ke Side Effects (7 Days) First Week Collection At Box Office

Shaadi Ke Side Effects (SKSE) starring Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan in the leads, has concluded the first week with good collection at the Indian Box Office. The Saket Chaudhary-directed romantic comedy, which topped the domestic business chart, has earned a decent margin of profit for its makers in seven days.

Released in 1,000+ screens in the domestic market, Shaadi Ke Side Effects opened to good response on Friday (February 28). A strong positive word of mouth set an upward trend for the film on the following days. The movie collected Rs 21.26 crores nett at the Indian Box Office in the first weekend. Its breakup is Rs 5.70 cr on Fri, Rs 7.55 cr on Sat and Rs 8.01 cr on Sun.

When compared to its opening day collection, Shaadi Ke Side Effects witnessed more than 50% dip in its business on Monday. Its collection continued to drop on the following days. On weekdays, the film has raked in Rs 9.57 crores nett at the Indian Box Office, taking its seven-day domestic total to Rs 30.83 crores nett. Its breakup is Rs 2.78 cr on Mon, Rs 2.63 cr on Tue, Rs 2.19 cr on Wed and Rs 1.97 cr on Thu.

This Friday, three much-awaited Bollywood movies like Gulaab Gang, Queen and Total Siyapaa have released in theatres across the country. Trade experts predict that these films, which have snatched a few screens from Shaadi Ke Side Effects, would definitely slow down the rocking run of the Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan starrer in theatres in its second week.
