Dibakar
Banerjee's
Detective
Byomkesh
Bakshy
released
today!
As
much
hyped
the
film
was,
it
failed
to
gather
much
audience
in
the
theatre
owing
to
the
release
of
the
much
awaited
Hollywood
film,
Furious
7
in
India.
The
death
of
one
of
the
lead
actors
gave
the
movie
an
extra
mileage
and
people
had
been
waiting
eagerly
to
watch
his
last
movie
on
the
big
screen.
The
bookings
have
been
made
for
the
coming
weekend
as
well,
trade
expert
Taran
Adarsh
tweeted,
"#FastAndFurious7
all
set
to
emerge
BIGGEST
opener
[Hollywood
films]
in
India.
Also,
HIGHEST
opener
of
2015,
overtaking
Hindi
films."
With
such
a
tough
fight
we
wonder
if
Sushant
Singh
Rajput's
Detective
Byomkesh
Bakshy
will
manage
to
stand
true.
The
film
has
released
in
over
1240
screens
in
India
and
about
330
screens
internationally.
All
in
all
the
worldwide
screen
count
is
a
total
of
1570
screens.
In
other
languages
too,
Tamil,
Kannada
industry
etc,
have
released
good
movies
making
it
quite
a
tough
challenge
for
Detective
Byomkesh
Bakshy
to
survive
the
Box
Office
war.
Another
drawback
would
be
the
movie
it
self,
though
it
is
a
good
cinema,
it
is
more
or
less
like
a
lengthy
art
cinema
which
not
everyone
prefers
to
watch
in
theatre
especially
as
an
entertaining
weekend
watch.
Well,
based
on
word
of
mouth
promotions,
the
movie
may
fare
more
than
expected.
Stay
tuned
to
know
the
Box
Office
collections
of
the
movie.
