The film released in 2000 screens in India and 200 overseas. While the movie fared well on the opening day, Friday, on the second day the collections fell.
Hero collected Rs 6.85 crores on Friday and Rs 6.82 crores on Saturday. Trade expert, Taran Adarsh reported, "#Hero biz doesn't witness growth on Sat. However, Sun should witness an escalation in biz. Fri 6.85 cr, Sat 6.62 cr. Total: ₹ 13.47 cr."
With dip in Saturday business, the makers are highly hopeful of Sunday! The morning shows saw an occupancy of 40% and post evening, the occupancy increased to 55-60%, overall the day saw 10-20% more occupancy than Saturday which means collections will be good.
Taran reported, "#Hero has a GOOD opening weekend, with biz stabilising on Sunday. Fri 6.85 cr, Sat 6.62 cr, Sun 7.73 cr. Total: ₹ 21.20 cr. India biz."
The real test will begin on Monday, if the collections fall below Rs 3 crores then the film may fail to be a hit considering Kangana Ranaut-Imran Khan starrer Katti Batti is releasing on Friday to give it tough competition.
