Director Shoojit Sircar's family comedy drama Piku has entered the 100 crore club nett at the worldwide Box Office.
The family entertainer, starring Deepika Padukone alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan has been highly successful in India and worldwide in terms of Box office collections currently.
Piku is not only the biggest hit overseas so far but also the third film in the list of top 10 Bollywood hits in India till date. The film has made 5.36 million USD - which is Rs 34.09 crore.
Piku has made a total business of Rs 71.72 cr nett at the domestic Box Office with a steady third week, in spite of releasing along with other big budget films. Thus, Piku's total worldwide Box Office collection has crossed Rs 105 crores.
According to official reports, in its third weekend, the film made Rs 1.35 crore on Friday, Rs 2.40 crore on Saturday and Rs 2.75 crore on Sunday.
Deepika Padukone's Piku received phenomenal response from critics, film-buffs and Bollywood celebs that have showered praises on the director and his cast. The overall success of this film has left the team floored with all the appreciation.
