on a decent note with a collection of Rs 5.32 crores on its opening
day, picked up tremendously on the weekend, but is back on its
opening numbers on Monday.
After earning a revenue of Rs 8.70 crores and Rs 11.20 crores on
Saturday and Sunday respectively, Piku witnessed a sharp
fall on its Box Office collection on Monday, but the numbers are

on Monday at the domestic market, taking its total collection to Rs
Shoojit Sircar's Piku received praising reviews and is
enjoying strong positive word of mouth which helped the movie pick
up so well at the Box Office.

‘Piku' sparks in moments, and I threw my head back and guffawed
in a few. But the rest of it stays only mildly amusing. I wanted
more motion in these motions.
Piku speaks its truth with simplicity and heart. It made me
laugh and cry. And I can get behind any Hindi film in which a
father says of his single daughter: "She's financially independent,
sexually independent." Bravo.
Piku is a lovely tale which will touch your heart even if it
does so by talking about bowel troubles.
I'm going with four out of five for Piku. Despite being obsessed
with all the wrong body parts, it's a film that's full of

Piku makes you shake with laughter. It also makes your heart
cry. Don't miss this gentle rollercoaster ride. Piku's motions and
emotions must be enjoyed.
