Airlift, (Saturday) Day 2 Box Office Collections: Strong & Excellent!

Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur starrer Airlift, has seen positive responses throughout the country in terms of revenue collections at the box office.

Airlift, raked in an impressive 12.35 Crores at the box office on the very first day of its release (Friday).

The second day (Saturday) saw Airlift raking in 14.60 Crores into its kitty. Both Friday & Saturday box office collections for Airlift is a huge amount of 26.5 Crores at the box office.

Day 1 - BO Collections

Airlift, managed to rake in 12.35 Crores at the box office on the first day of its release (Friday).

Day 2 - BO

Airlift, box office collections on Day 2 (Saturday) is 14.60 Crores. The movie fared well as compared to Friday.

Day 3 - Sunday

Akshay Kumar starrer Airlift, is expected to reach its highest ever amount on Sunday (Day 3) of its release.

Republic Day

Tuesday, (Day 5) would also see Airlift's revenue soaring as its a nationwide holiday for Republic Day.

Weekend Collections

Airlift on Friday collected an amount of 12.35 Crores and on Saturday raked in 14.60 Crores at the box office.

Total Collections

The total collections for Airlift is 26.5 Crores at the box office on Friday and Saturday.

As per reports, Airlift box office collections would multiply by Sunday and on Tuesday, as it's a nationwide holiday for Republic Day.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted as saying,

#Airlift has a GOOD jump on Day 2. Is winning hearts. Winning the BO. Fri 12.35 cr, Sat 14.60 cr. Total: ₹ 26.95 cr. Sun will be better."

Airlift, opened up to 30-35 per cent theatre occupancy on the first day of its release (Friday). Multiplexes saw more number of occupancy as compared to single theatres. Metropolitan cities fared well as Airlift saw maximum theatre occupancy in Delhi and Punjab.

Akshay Kumar starrer Airlift, was made on a budget of 40 Crores. A sum of 27 Crores was spent on production and 13 Crores was invested on advertising & marketing.

As per reports, Airlift might cross the invested amount within the first week of its release, as the movie has a strong and emotional storyline.

Airlift, has received excellent ratings between 3.5 -4 / 5 stars by reviewers. Director Raja Menon, has put in a lot of efforts with extensive research into the making of the movie.
