Ajay Devgn's Shivaay Box Office Prediction Report

Ajay Devgn is all set to woo his fans with his dream project Shivaay, which is releasing tomorrow (28th October). Early box office predictions of Shivaay suggest that the movie will have a huge opening day collection and it can be Ajay's second highest grossing film after Singhum Returns (32 Crores on its first day).

While Shivaay is likely to witness a huge business on the day of its release, the weekend collection may not be as high as expected due to the festival. Shivaay is expected to show good numbers Monday onwards. As reported, Shivaay which has been made with a budget of apprx 70 Cr will be released in around 2800 screens in India while overseas it has bagged 750 screens.

Ajay Devgn On Shivaay & ADHM Box Office Clash

Talking about the big clash Ajay told a daily, ''I am not going against anybody. I decided the release of the film the day I decided, and at that time, nothing was scheduled for a release on this day. So, if somebody is going against it, that's not me.''

I Can Handle Anybody With My Little Finger: Ajay

In the same interview Ajay Devgn indirectly talked about Karan Johar and said, ''I don't need any help and I can handle anybody with my little finger.''

Let The Audience Decide: Ajay

Ajay Devgn said, ''I have decided this date not to fight with anybody because it was decided last year itself and it's fair enough that two films come and there is space for two films and let the audience decide. The better one will work.''

Ajay On Shivaay

In an interview to a web portal, Ajay talked about Shivaay and said, ''In today's world, every individual can connect to Lord Shiva. The lead character whose name is Shivaay, has his own shortcomings and positive things like Lord Shiva.''

Ajay Devgn added in the same interview, ''But when certain situation demands, he also turns into a destroyer just like Lord Shiva.''

''I have kept important things under wraps. But if you observe the songs, they unfold certain aspects or story about the film. But of course if you want to know the complete story, you should catch it in the theaters.''

Starcast

Apart from Ajay Devgn, Shivaay's star cast also includes Erika Kaar, Sayyeshaa Saigal and Abigail Eame.

Ajay Devgn's Shivaay is releasing with Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Trade experts believe that Ajay Devgn's film will also get single screen viewers along with ADHM.

Talking about both the films, a trade expert told Bollywood Life, "Now, Friday is a non-holiday. So on such a day, you can expect around 25 crore, a cumulative amount for both the films. Even though Friday isn't a holiday, the spirit of it is around. Kids have holidays because of Diwali. It can go up to 30 cr as well but 25 crore is the bare minimum for the both movies to do. So it will be a race between them. If it's 25 cr, we are ideally looking at 12.5 crore each for day 1. It will be very close."
