Ghayal Once Again First Weekend (3 Days) Box Office Collections: GOOD

Sunny Deol's Ghayal Once Again, which is the sequel to his 1990 film Ghayal, received a decent opening at the Indian box office, bringing in Rs 7.20 Crores on the day of its release.

On the second day of its release, Ghayal Once Again earned Rs 7.65 Crores and on Sunday it jumped to Rs 23.25 Crores. Talking about the movie's box office collections, Taran Adarsh wrote on Twitter, ''#GhayalOnceAgain Fri 7.20 cr, Sat 7.65 cr, Sun 8.40 cr. Total: ₹ 23.25 cr. India biz.''

Ghayal Once Again is directed by Sunny Deol. Not many people know that the movie was initially supposed to release with Salman Khan's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. But, Sunny Deol's movie got delayed due to the VFX work.

Apart from Sunny Deol, Ghayal Once Again also features Soha Ali Khan, Tisca Chopra and Narendra Jha in pivotal roles. The critics wrote mostly negative reviews about the film but Sunny Deol's fans have given the movie a thumbs up.

Talking about his film Sunny Deol said recently, "The whole film is based on youth. Definitely it's them who watch the maximum number of films. It's best to have something which is very relevant to them, something with which they can identify themselves with.''

''I have made this film just like I had made the first Ghayal. Even in that, I reflected the society in 1990, and even in this I'm reflecting the society of 2016." he said.
