Rocky Handsome First Weekend (3 Days) Box Office Collection

Rocky Handsome had a decent start at the box office. John Abraham's action thriller received mixed reviews from both the audiences and the critics.

The movie earned Rs 1.77 Crores from its preview, on its opening day it collected Rs 5.39 Crores, on Saturday its box office collection was Rs 4.83 Crores and on Sunday Rocky Handsome earned 4.13 Crores.

Talking about the box office collection of Rocky Handsome, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on Twitter, ''#RockyHandsome Thu previews 1.77 cr, Fri 5.39 cr, Sat 4.83 cr, Sun 4.13 cr. Total: ₹ 16.12 cr. India biz.''

According to the recent reports, Rocky Handsome had an occupancy rate of 30 percent in the morning shows. Unfortunately, the movie failed to create magic at the box office, even after having the benefit of a Good Friday Holiday.

John Abraham's film faced a tough competition from two movies- Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra & Fawad Khan's Kapoor And Sons and Hollywood movie, Batman vs Superman The Dawn Of Justice. And trade experts say that this surely has hampered the box office performance of the movie.

Based on Korean film The Man From Nowhere, Rocky Handsome features John Abraham as Kabir Ahlawat who doesn't have any records before 2009. The film's director Nishikant Kamat plays the villain in the film.

Rocky Handsome also features beautiful actress Shruti Haasan opposite John Abraham. The film hit the screens on March 25 this year.
