He's back. And this time he is posh but brutal. This time, the game is bigger, the setting is sleeker and the life is riskier. The Don returns and this time, it is Shah Rukh Khan who takes up the throne.
The promo opens with the top view of the famous Petronas Twin Towers, vehicles rushing through the runway and horses running in a race course. But everything comes to a standstill as you hear a fire shot from the Don's designer gun. As said before, the new Don lives his life lavishly. He is posh and loaded but equally dangerous. And this can be seen through various things be it his Mercedes sedans or his choppers or the sleek cellphones and his wrist watches. The Don likes to have his mark everywhere even if it is his hand towels which have his initial 'D' printed on them.
After a slow paced introduction, the promo takes up speed with a cop chase scene. The characters are introduced with deadly action scenes in the background. Shah Rukh is the Don, Priyanka Chopra who is seen getting trained in martial arts plays Roma, the macho Arjun Rampal is Jasjit, Boman Irani is DCP D'Silva - the supercop, Sizzling Isha Koppikar plays Anita, Om Puri is Police head Malik and Kareena Kapoor is Kamini.
This character introduction is followed by the excellent sky diving scene of the Don. The promo ends with Shah Rukh speaking the famous line 'Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi, naa mumkin hai' and throws a burning cigarette in the typical style like the earlier Don, Amitabh Bachchan.
The trendy accessories, sleek gadgets, lavish settings, expensive wardrobe and deadly action scenes build the framework of the new Don. The promo maintains the shade of green color throughout the video which is like the brand color of this film. This first theatrical of Don -The Chase Begins Again definitely looks promising and will whet the appetite of the audiences for more.
