Director Kabir Khan's Kabul Express has been in the news since the time of its inception. Be it, it's shooting in Afghanistan, or John's illness owing to the harsh shooting conditions, the movie has been speculated about to no end.

Kabul Express tells the story of five people from different worlds whose paths were destined to cross in a country devastated by war. We all know about John and Arshad playing the two lead characters. But who are the other three? One plays an Afghani, one American and one is Pakistani.

Kabir Khan has ensured that the authenticity of his film is maintained. To do so, he decided that every actor should be of the same nationality as their character. So there is an Afghani actor named Hanif Humghum who will be playing a local driver cum guide. American actress Linda Arsenio will be essaying the role of a New York based journalist. The character of a Pakistani journalist will be portrayed by Pakistani actor Salman Shahid. And lastly as we all know John Abraham and Arshad Warsi are playing Indian journalists. Apart from that, there are about 20 Afghan actors in the film. Which seems like a smart decision, considering that the film is titled Kabul Express.

How's that for realism in your film? From what we can see, Kabul Express definitely promises to be a melting point of diverse cultures.
