Prasoon
Joshi,
the
creative
director
of
McCann
Erickson
has
written
lyrics
for
a
number
of
Bollywood
films
including
Lajja,
Hum
Tum,
Phir
Milenge,
Rang
De
Basanti
and
Fanaa.
So
we
really
wonder
how
taxing
it
must
be
juggling
to
pen
the
rights
words
for
top
producers
as
well
as
handling
accounts
of
big
clients
at
McCann.
There
was
a
very
funny
incident
once
while
he
was
working
on
the
lyrics
of
Hum
Tum.
Music
Directors
Jatin-Lalit
has
asked
for
some
changes
and
variations
for
part
of
a
song
from
the
film.
Poor
Prasoon
was
on
a
business
trip
in
Malaysia
and
could
not
find
the
time
to
revert
back
to
the
director
duo.
So
what
does
he
do?
He
makes
an
excuse
to
his
business
associates
and
goes
to
the
nearest
toilet
to
apparently
answer
the
nature's
call.
But
he
had
his
own
intentions
in
the
loo.
He
immediately
got
back
to
Jatin-Lalit
via
text
message
through
his
cellular
phone.
Now
that's
what
you
call
a
Stinker!!
Prasoon
laughs
when
recalling
the
incident
but
swears
by
not
repeating
such
an
episode
again.
His
tryst
with
A.R.
Rehman
too
has
its
own
stories.
Since
Rehman
resides
in
Chennai
and
Prasoon
in
always
on
the
move,
they
too
communicate
via
SMS.
However,
whenever
Rehman
composes
anything
new
he
passes
the
tune
to
Prasoon
either
through
mail
or
through
a
message
in
his
cellular
phone
where
Prasoon
checks
it
out
and
reverts
back.
He
claims
that
this
is
one
way
where
they
both
meet
their
deadlines
on
time
without
any
delay.
Prasoon
definitely
has
his
hands
full
but
with
a
techno-savvy
mind,
it
definitely
seems
that
he
will
be
the
lyricist
to
look
out
for.
