Bollywood Talk with Salim-Sulaiman

Salim and Sulaiman have been composing background music for over a decade having scored for movies like Bhoot, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Matrubhoomi, Hum Tum and Dhoom to name a few.

The two have made music of various genres. Continuing with the trendy pop music on one side, they duo also developed sensible music for cinema. The scary background score of Bhoot done by Salim Sulaiman was one of the crucial elements of the film. It added so much more to the horror feel of the movie. They even won the Best Background Music Award at the Annual Screen Awards that year for Bhoot. The duo also added their magic to Being Cyrus, with their mysterious score, that gave the movie a chilling suspense feel.

The versatile duo has also composed for several Indi-pop sensations including Viva, Asmaan, Shweta Shetty, Jasmine and Style Bhai among others, composed and produced hundreds of TV commercials and collaborated with a host of artistes of the likes of Ustad Zakir Hussain and Ustad Sultan Khan. They have also performed at a prestigious venue like Carnegie Hall.

The brothers also have big banners on their credit like Kaal (co-produced by Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan), Yash Raj's Neal 'N' Nikki and the upcoming Dhoom 2.

Along with composing music for the film, the duo has readied their new state-of-the-art studio in Juhu. The new studio in Juhu has facilities to record with a much larger orchestra.

The duo's latest work is the background score for Krrish, which has been appreciated by many.
