It definitely is an award worthy performance. He is now shooting for Kya Love Story Hai. We have an exclusive chat with the superstar on the sets of Kya Love Story Hai.
Tell
us
about
Kya
Love
Story
Hai.
Kya
Love
Story
Hai
is
a
simple
love
story
and
revolves
around
three
characters
which
are
mine,
Ayesha
Takia
and
a
new
comer
called
Karan.
It
is
very
interesting
in
its
situations.
Although
the
story
is
very
simple,
the
way
in
which
the
characters
reach
their
destinations
is
very
very
unique.
What
you
get
out
of
this
film
is
that
we
have
a
certain
picture
in
our
mind
as
to
who
we
imagine
our
partner
in
life
to
be
but
what
we
really
want
and
what
we
finally
fall
in
love
with
can
be
something
very
different.
Something
we
do
not
even
know
of.
That
is
the
irony
in
the
film.
Is
this
film
another
college
caper?
It
is
a
young
film
but
it
is
not
a
college
caper.
It
is
not
in
a
campus.
It
is
set
abroad.
It
is
about
the
relationship
between
these
three
characters.
It
is
not
exactly
a
love
triangle
also.
There
is
no
situation
that
connects
it
to
a
college
caper.
Are
you
excited
to
work
with
Ayesha
Takia
who
is
really
popular
these
days?
I
am
very
very
happy
to
be
working
with
her.
It
is
my
first
film
with
Ayesha.
I
hope
people
like
our
pair
in
the
film
and
I
hope
we
do
a
lot
of
films
together
in
future.
Tell
us
about
Lovely
Singh,
the
director
of
the
film.
He's
a
new
guy
Lovely
has
been
a
friend
of
mine.
He
was
the
assistant
director
to
Satish
Kaushik.
That
is
how
I
got
to
know
him.
He
is
a
very
sensitive
person.
To
be
a
sensitive
director,
you
have
to
be
aware
of
the
little
things
because
they
matter
a
lot.
He
has
a
very
fresh
approach,
a
very
modern
approach
to
film
making.
When
I
heard
the
story,
I
liked
the
way
he
had
inter
woven
the
screenplay
from
such
a
simple
love
story.
The
one
line
intro
of
the
film
is
very
simple
but
the
way
the
story
actually
unfolds
is
what
sets
the
movie
apart
from
other
love
stories.
We
haven't
seen
a
young
love
story
in
recent
times.
Films
like
Salaam
Namaste,
Hum
Tum
were
love
stories
but
were
a
little
matured.
We
haven't
seen
something
very
young.
That
is
why
I
feel
this
movie
will
be
a
very
novel
affair
and
Lovely
Singh
will
definitely
make
a
mark
with
this
movie.
Tell
us
about
the
new
comer
Karan.
I
haven't
really
started
shooting
with
him.
But
I
have
met
him
once.
He
seems
promising.
I
will
know
more
about
him
once
I
start
working
with
him.
How
is
it
working
with
Bablu
Pachisia.
Mr.
Parchisia
is
a
regular
producer
in
Bollywood.
I
have
met
him
a
couple
of
times
before
and
we
were
supposed
to
start
a
few
projects
but
things
did
not
work
out.
So
I
am
very
happy
that
things
have
worked
out
for
this
movie.
Everybody
is
fit
for
their
part
and
everyone
is
really
geared
up
for
this
film.
I
hope
my
team
with
Mr
Parchisia
is
also
successful.
Is
the
movie
to
be
completed
in
one
schedule?
You
can
say
that.
It
is
not
going
to
be
spread
over
too
many
months.
We
are
going
for
a
one
and
a
half
month
outdoor
to
South
Africa
by
the
end
of
this
month.
That
should
finish
95%
of
the
work.
We
have
one
song
here
in
Bombay.
I
think
we
will
be
done
in
this
schedule.
You
recently
hurt
yourself
in
an
action
sequence
for
Shootout
at
Lokhandwala.
What
was
that
about?
Yes
I
hurt
myself
in
a
fight
scene.
My
director
Apoorva
Lakhia
was
quite
happy
about
it.
He
feels
it
looks
good
with
the
character
since
I
am
playing
a
negative
character
in
the
film.
The
bruise
is
still
there
but
I
hope
it
subsides
soon.
You
have
a
different
look
for
your
role
in
Kya
Love
Story
Hai.
Yes,
I
have
a
different
look
from
what
I
have
in
Shootout
at
Lokhandwala.
In
Lokhandwala
I
have
a
big
beard.
In
this
film
I
am
a
kind
of
a
guy
who
lives
abroad.
He
is
fun.
At
the
same
time
he
is
not
very
loud
personality.
It
is
more
of
a
romantic
guy,
chilled
out
at
the
same
time
he
is
not
trying
to
look
good.
So
the
look
is
going
to
be
like
that
of
the
character.
Is
Kya
Kool
Hain
Hum
2
coming?
We
are
going
to
start
next
year.
The
scripting
is
almost
done.
We
just
have
to
work
out
on
the
dates
and
get
the
whole
team
together
and
start
by
2007.
It
should
come
out
by
2008.
When
is
Good
Boy
Bad
Boy
coming?
Good
Boy
Bad
Boy
is
ready.
I
just
have
one
song
remaining.
I
am
told
it
will
be
releasing
by
December.
It
is
a
romantic
campus
drama.
That
film
is
more
like
a
musical.
It
has
got
comedy
also.
It
has
the
moral
in
the
film
that
you
do
not
have
to
be
good
or
bad.
You
have
to
be
smart.
One
can
achieve
that
when
you
interact
with
all
kinds
of
people.
It
is
not
something
that
you
segregate
people
according
to
the
intelligence.
That
way
nobody
grows.
So
it
is
like
a
campus
light
dramatic
film.
You
are
also
in
Agar.
Agar
is
a
romantic
thriller.
It
is
more
like
Hitchcockian
film
where
you
do
not
know
what
is
going
to
happen
next.
It
is
very
emotional
but
at
the
same
time
it
has
that
thrilling
element.
What
the
director
is
going
to
do
next?
Audience
will
wonder
what
will
happen
in
the
film
next
because
the
screenplay
is
so
good.
It
is
about
this
guy
who
is
almost
broken
and
lost
where
his
love
life
is
concerned.
He
comes
back
to
normality
but
the
same
thing
happens
to
him
again.
How
he
takes
it
this
time,
is
basically
what
Agar
is
all
about.
What
releases
do
you
have
lined
up?
My
next
release
will
be
Good
Boy
Bad
Boy.
After
that
will
be
Kya
Love
Story
Hai.
Then
I
have
Shootout
at
Lokhandwala
and
then
will
come
Agar.
What
other
projects
are
you
doing?
I
have
just
signed
a
film
with
Priyadarshan
for
Percept.
It
is
an
out
and
out
comedy.
We
will
start
in
November.
That
should
come
out
next
summer.
