Deepal
Shaw
is
excited
about
doing
a
film
opposite
Irrfan
Khan.
But
what
has
her
even
more
excited,
is
the
fact
that
she
replaced
Urmila
Matondkar
in
the
untitled
project.
The
film
is
being
directed
by
Navneet
Bajsani,
and
produced
by
Asif
Sheikh
and
Kishan
Choudhury.
Says
Deepal,
"When
the
producers
and
director
first
approached
me,
they
told
me
that
Urmila
was
supposed
to
do
the
film,
but
couldn't.
I
was
extremely
excited,
because
I
got
to
do
a
role
which
Urmila
could
have
done.
It's
not
about
Deepal
replacing
Urmila,
as
Urmila
is
an
exceptionally
talented
actress,
but
it
does
boost
my
ego.
It's
another
step
in
my
life
towards
my
dreams."

And
what
about
Irrfan?
"He
is
an
amazing
actor
and
I
am
very
fortunate
to
be
doing
this
film.
It's
the
main
reason
I
am
doing
the
film.
I
had
one
meeting
with
him
and
I'm
sure
it
will
be
great
fun
working
with
him."
What's
the
film
about?
"It's
a
sensitive
love
story
dealing
with
two
characters.
When
love
ceases
to
be
secret,
it
ceases
to
be
a
pleasure.
For
four
months
after
Kalyug,
I
had
been
going
through
scripts,
but
I
chose
this
as
it
proves
my
potential.
I
see
myself
as
a
dark
horse,
who
will
become
the
No
1
in
coming
years."
Not
I:
Urmila
Urmila,
however,
denies
she
was
doing
the
film.
"I
have
never
heard
of
the
film
or
the
director,
or
been
approached
for
the
film."
The
director,
Bajsani
refutes
this.
"In
the
beginning,
we
had
approached
Urmila
and
narrated
the
script.
She
had
evinced
a
keen
interest
in
it.
Then,
with
time,
we
decided
we
wanted
an
actress
without
any
image
to
play
the
female
lead.
I
was
not
in
touch
with
her
directly,
but
through
her
secretary
-
the
film
kept
getting
delayed
as
the
dates
couldn't
be
matched.
Urmila
is
a
great
actress,
but
I
saw
no
reason
to
keep
running
behind
her.
There
was
no
signing
amount
and
I
didn't
have
a
word
with
her
after
that.
It
was
understood
that
we
wouldn't
be
working
together.
Deepal
is
a
talented
girl
and
it
will
be
a
pleasure
working
with
her.
The
film
is
based
on
human
psychology
and
how
human
being's
react
situations
in
their
lives."
Deepal
denies
live-in
boyfriend
"I
am
not
living
in
with
Kranti
Jha,
who
is
a
model," says
Deepal
Shaw.
"His
parents
and
mine
are
extremely
close,
but
I
have
never
stayed
at
his
home.
He
lives
in
Goregaon,
while
I
live
in
Vashi.
I
don't
know
if
he
is
a
"special
friend",
as
I
have
no
hierarchy
for
friends.
I
am
an
extremely
possessive
and
passionate
person,
who
doesn't
believe
in
half-measures.
I
can't
categorise
between
a
special
friend
and
a
good
friend.
I
was
in
love
once,
but
I'm
not
in
love
with
anybody
now.
I
am
a
loser
in
love...
but
the
pain
in
my
heart
has
helped
me
achieve
what
I
wanted
-
to
be
an
actress!"
