Jodhan Akbar is one of the most awaited epic films of the recent times . When the director is some one called a Ashutosh Gowarikar a lot is expected form the movie. Ashutosh takes a leaf out of the history books about the love story between the Mughal king Akbar and Rajput princess Jodha. The movie recently released its teaser and if it is anything to go by the movie is sure to rule the Box Office.

Ashutosh Gowarikar is know for his detailing in the movie and not one of those directors to roll out poorly scripted movies on a yearly basis. He has earned laurels with Lagaan which is to date Bollywood's biggest success on an international platform and Swades where Shahrukh gave a performance of a lifetime.

In Jodha Akbar he casts the Hritik Roshan to play the powerful role of Akbar and Aishwarya Bachchan to play his love princess Jodha. Ash hardly utters a word in the movie which is in tune with the character princess but her mesmerizing say it all. Hritik seem to be the king out of the history books and his looks and costume make him the perfect Akbar.

The 3 minute promo all in all has given us just a glimpse of the epic 3 hour movie which is sure to go down as the biggest historical epic after K Asif's Mughl-e-Azam.
