Shilpa Shetty continues to rock. After reports of her bagging a true blue Hollywood project- Uru Patel's Hanuman, opposite Hollywood heart throb Keanu Reeves, comes the news that former heavy weight boxing champion Mike Tyson desperately wants to work with her in a Bollywood movie.
Mike Tyson who recently did a promotional video for Feroz Nadidawala's Fool N Final has admitted to his new found love for Bollywood films. He now wants to act in more films and Shilpa Shetty is the one who is in his wish list of co stars.
Tyson said the energy on the sets of the music video of Fool N Final that he shot in Las Vegas got him to think about trying out more Bollywood work. But what is it that made him join Shilpa's long list of admirers in the West? "It's her beauty, grace, wit and the way she carries herself has made me think of her as the ideal co-star. There's something about her that can make anyone go weak in the knees", he is reported to have said.
Firoz Nadiadwala had approached Tyson with a script which he is seriously considering and by now it's likely that he must have suggested Shilpa's name for it.
Shilpa was away and unavailable for comment. So we inquired with her spokesperson Dale Bhagwagar who said he was aware of Tyson's wish. "I have heard about it," he said. "Shilpa is known to have the best physique in Bollywood while Tyson is known for his physique in the world of boxing. Quite a lethal combination it could be," he added.
And what kind of role would Tyson play opposite Shilpa? "Obviously he is a little old to be paired with her as her love interest. Maybe he will do just fine as her 'Big Brother'," Bhagwagar remarked in jest.
So forget about that kissing scene, Iron Mike! Anyways after all the unfounded hoopla about Richard Gere's kiss, Shilpa is sure to be wary of all that. But regardless of everything, it would be really interesting to watch our very own dusky actress turned diva alongside the 'Kid Dynamite' on the big screen.
