Tanushree Dutta starrer Risk failed to create a mark at the Box Office, but the Bong actress is very excited about her next release Raqeeb. Raqeeb is produced by Raj Kanwar and debutante Anurag Singh is directing it. The film also stars Rahul Khanna, Jimmy Shergill and Sharman Joshi. Tanushree is very excited about this film because she will be seen experimenting with a very different kind of role altogether. "This is a new role for me as I play an extremely negative character." The audiences will see Tanushree in different shades in this film. "There are three different shades in my roles. I have experimented in this film with three roles. So, I can say that there will be three different Tanushrees in Raqeeb" says Tanushree Dutta.

Tanushree enjoyed working with her costars Sharman Joshi, Rahul Khanna and Jimmy Shergill. "I was working with them for the first time and the experience was very good. They all were very dedicated, sincere and very good actors". Talking about the debutant director Anurag Singh she says, "Anurag Singh is also extremely talented and dedicated. He has given his heart and soul in this film."

Shooting for Raqeeb however was a very hush-hush rush-rush affair. "We were had a very busy schedule, so there was very less breathing space. Even during outdoors, we were shooting at a maddening pace." Besides, since she was experimenting with new role, Tanushree also had to stay into the skin of the character. "I had to be in certain psyche throughout the film. Therefore, I would just give my shot and go back to my vanity van just to be in the frame of mind that was required for this character."

Tanushree also has a couple of projects lined up. After Raqeeb, Tanushree will be next seen with Emraan Hashmi and Tusshar Kapoor in Good Boy Bad Boy. "Good Boy Bad Boy is ready for release. It will come out soon."

She is currently shooting for Priyadarshan's Dhol. "Dhol is a comedy film. There's Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu, Rajpal Yadav and Sharman Joshi in the film. It is a hilarious film with lot of comedy happening." So, what is her role in the film? "I play a girl next door. It's not a very glamorous role. If you see any of Priyadarshan's films, you'll notice that women are portrayed in a very simple way and he has done the same with me."

Incidentally, Tanushree was seen in a small role in Priyadarshan's last film, Bhagam Bhag. "It wasn't a full fledged role. It was a guest appearance. Most of the people are confusing this with a proper role where the fact is that it was a guest appearance and the role was as lengthy as a guest appearance should be." The song 'Signal' from the Bhagam Bhag however became a very big hit. "I loved to be a part of that film because I think that the song has done wonders for me. Everyone liked the song including kids. It has also added to my bank of songs for my stage performances."
