Reaching
out
to
the
youth
is
easier
said
than
done.
When
you
talk
to
the
youth
of
this
country,
you
need
to
talk
their
language.
It
is
with
this
objective
in
mind
that
SAB
takes
its
youth
cult
show
'Left
Right
Left'
(LRL)
to
a
completely
new
age
platform,
the
Net.
'Left Right Left' has become the first show in the country to launch its own Website. Launched on April 30, 2007, the site has become an immediate hit and already has an astounding 16,00,000 hits, 7,000 posts and over 10,000 registered members or cadets as they choose to calls themselves.
With games, interactive forums, downloads, videos, behind the scenes info, blogs by other directors and lots more, the site is probably the first ever comprehensive Website created for any show by any channel in India. The site has a virtual Kanchanjunga Military academy where you can enroll and become a cadet yourself.
Speaking about the Left Right Left Website, Mr. Manish Hariprasad, AVP Marketing, SAB, said, "Today the youth spends a lot of time on the internet and there can be no better way for their most loved show to reach them. 'LRL' has been a topic of discussion on the internet for long so why not have our own platform. The most encouraging aspect is that we have promoted the site only while the show is on air and have not done any kind of advertising to promote it. We have received a stupendous response and the numbers are growing by the minute only via word of mouth".
