Shahrukh Khan is one actor in Bollywood who knows how to deal with the media. He rarely cause trouble to the makers of his films and co-stars. He managed to keep all the ugly controversies at bay for a long time but the Pandora's box seems to have been broken of late.
It all started last year when he made a spoof on veteran actor Manoj Kumar in his hit film Om Shanti Om. Shahrukh was forced to apologies after Manoj went public about his disappointment. 2008 has turned even tougher for Shahrukh, as controversies keep coming one after another. Aamir Khan was the first to push him to the back seat. He wrote in his blog that his maid had a dog named Shahrukh. King Khan kept mum.
After that, the infamous spat between Shahrukh and Salman Khan took place. King Khan left Katrina Kaif's birthday party along with his wife Gauri Khan after a fight with Salman. Apart from these controversies, Shahrukh has been pulled up many a time for smoking in public.
Shahrukh is in trouble again - of course for no fault of his. He has been conferred the prestigious title Datuk, which is equivalent to knighthood, by the Malacca State for his contribution towards promoting the state's tourism. However, many Malaysians are not happy with this move by the Malacca state, as they want to give more priority to the local artistes.
Well, Shahrukh is still sticking to his old technique of dealing controversies, that is keeping mum. Leave him alone!
