Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic is still in dark

It is exactly a month to go for the release of Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic and unfortunately there is hardly any awareness about the film amongst many, let alone any buzz being created. It has been a 'thanda' response so far for the film with many centering the blame game on the prime protagonists who seem to be playing on a familiar territory.

Even though the film has Rani playing an Angel, this angle has hardly been explored so far with the makers concentrating on the song 'Nihaal Ho Gayi' to be unleashed on the music channels. Now that's ironic to say the least because while on one hand Yash Raj Films chose to hide some very good songs of Tashan for most part of the film's promotion, they don't seem to have any qualms when it comes to beaming the songs of Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic.

In addition, the basic theme of the film seems to be on the lines of Hum Hai Raahi Pyaar Ke and though this has certainly given Kunal Kohli an advantage to build on a successful plotline, it only makes the job challenging for him to give his audience something interesting to enjoy on the big screen.

However, the fact remains that the promos so far have hardly managed to create any excitement and it seems to be strong deja vu for the audience which has become far lesser tolerant to the kind of cinema coming from the house of Yash Raj Films, something that started taking a predictable route.

Now one can only hope that with director Kunal Kohli also calling the shots as a co-producer, he would have brought on something really worthwhile to make Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic a worthwhile affair.

If no, then it may well be the case of 'Thoda Manda Magic Thanda'!
