De Dana Dan highlight: Unlimited fun

Where is the hottest Bollywood onscreen pair Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, who acted together in hit films Namastey London, Welcome and Singh Is Kinng? They are not promoting their latest film De Dana Dan aggressively like they used to, though it is all set to hit the theatres tomorrow (November 27).

De Dana Dan is a comedy film directed by Priyadarshan. Here goes the story - Nitin (Akshay Kumar) and Ram (Suniel Shetty) are poor but lucky in love. Their rich girlfriends Anjali (Katrina Kaif) and Manpreet (Sameera Reddy) tell them to earn big money so that they could elope or else forget about them completely.

To make quick bucks, Nitin and Ram plan to kidnap Moolchandji, the spoilt dog of rich brat Archana (Archana Puran Singh). But Moolchandji runs away, and the police think it"s Nitin who"s been kidnapped. You will have to watch the film to know the rest of the film. It promises unlimited fun.

One of the highlights of De Dana Dan is the hot rain dance sequence featuring the lead pair Akshay and Katrina. The sequence has been even compared to the rain dance featuring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor in 3 Idiots. Akshay has revealed that the particular sequence has turned out really hot.

De Dana Dan has been hit hard as far as its promotion is concerned due to Katrina's ill health. Akshay is forced to promote it with Sameera Reddy since Katrina is ailing at home due to jaundice.

However, the film is expected to make a good opening like all Akshay-Katrina starrer films. It also features actors like Paresh Rawal and Neha Dhupia. Ganesh Jain produces the film and Priyadarshan is the director.
