Marigold,
God
Tussi
Great
Ho,
Heroes,
Yuvraaj
and
now
Main
Aurr
Mrs
Khanna,
Bollywood
superstar
Salman
Khan
has
added
one
more
dud
to
his
career.
A
much
hyped
Diwali
release
Main
Aurr
Mrs
Khanna
failed
to
impress
the
audience
in
its
very
first
week.
In
the
last
five
years
Salman
has
only
Partner
and
Wanted
to
proud
of
and
in
the
former's
case
he
has
to
share
the
honours
with
Bollywood's
'No.
1'
man
Govinda.
A
part
of
the
revered
'Khan
Trio'
along
with
Aamir
Khan
and
Shahrukh
Khan,
Salman
was
a
hit
machine
in
the
90's
churning
out
one
blockbuster
after
the
other.
The
Bollywood
hunk
who
could
once
fill
up
cinema
halls
for
weeks
with
his
movies
finds
it
difficult
to
have
a
good
opening
these
days.
Although
the
actor
enjoys
a
huge
fan
following
not
less
than
any
other
Bollywood
star
when
it
comes
to
Box
Office
performance
his
movies
have
taken
a
beating.
In
the
later
half
of
this
decade
he
has
acted
with
stars
like
Katrina
Kaif,
Priyanka
Chopra.
Rani
Mukherjee
and
Preity
Zinta
but
his
luck
seems
to
make
no
turn
whoever
his
leading
lady
is.
Although
his
staunch
fans
might
not
agree
to
the
fact,
he
is
no
comparison
to
Aamir
and
Shahrukh
when
it
comes
to
Box
Office
performance
these
days.
What's
more
stars
like
Akshay
Kumar,
Hrithik
Roshan,
Saif
Ali
Khan
and
Shahid
Kapoor
seems
to
be
more
bankable
than
Salman
at
present.
Another
reason
why
Salman
hasn't
been
able
to
repeat
the
success
of
the
90s
in
the
recent
years
is
due
to
the
fact
that
he
hasn't
experimented
with
his
acting.
Unlike
his
biggest
competitors
Aamir
and
Shahrukh
who
have
experimented
with
their
acting
doing
varied
roles
Salman
has
stuck
to
the
romance
and
masala
formula
of
the
90s.
The
Bollywood
audience
which
has
starkly
changed
in
the
last
decade
or
so
doesn't
seem
to
connect
with
his
movies
any
more.
Too
much
of
on-screen
and
off-screen
appearance
also
seems
to
have
hurt
his
career.
Where
actors
of
his
stature
do
only
a
couple
of
movies
a
year,
Salman
appears
in
hordes
of
movies
denying
him
the
exclusivity
factor.
Salman
who
is
very
loyal
to
his
friends
and
fellow
actors
makes
too
many
guest
appearance
in
movies
which
takes
a
toll
on
his
superstar
status.
With
London
Dreams
releasing
later
this
month
it
might
prove
to
be
a
make
or
break
movie
for
Salman
Khan's
superstar
status.
