Lara Dutta becomes TV reporter

You may recall that Bollywood Hungama was the first to report that Lara Dutta was roped in to endorse Colgate. Now, the much awaited ad is finally out.

The commercial has the gorgeous Lara playing the role of a TV reporter. Insiders say that Lara was quite unwell on the day before the shoot with high fever and food poisoning. However, being the professional that she is, she stuck to her commitment for the shoot, despite the fact that it was a night shoot. The most challenging part of the shoot was to get the transformation sequence right, where Lara quickly takes out her spectacles, wig and jacket to transform into the reporter. So much for professionalism!

If you are still drooling over her clothes, let us tell you that it's designed by Akki Narula. Lara had once quoted that she would have been a journalist, had she not been a model. Well, with her donning the attire of a journalist (quite a sexy one at that!), life seems to have come a full circle for this beauty without a pause. Way to go, Lara!
