Ajay Devgn's beefy look in Singham

The beefy look of actor Ajay Devgn in Rohit Shetty's upcoming film Singham has been revealed. The actor plays the character of a cop in the film, therefore he is donning a tough-as-nails look.

Ajay worked hard to achieve a raw manly physique. The director of Singham Rohit Shetty told Mid Day, “We've tried to achieve for AJ the physique of a man who could bash up 20 people, if he so wished. It's not a six-pack look. Anybody can achieve that with injections and steroids. The manliness has to come through as he plays a tough cop who is from a village on the Maharashtra-Goa border. It is a raw action film filled with hand-to-hand combat scenes, something one rarely gets to see in movies in this day and age of high-tech gadgetry."

Ajay has already undergone three months training to get into the role of a tough cop. He has lost a lot of weight and has developed some more cuts on his body to appear more lean and muscular. Along with work out for one and a half hours the actor is under a strict diet, which comprises of high-protein and low-carb food in every three hours of intervals.

Ajay's trainer informed that apart from all regular work out, the actor had to do some special weight lifts including pushups and pullups. The trainer also added that it didn't take Ajay a lot of time to adapt the physique as he has a great body and has always been a fitness freak.
