Asin wants to do meaty roles

Asin Thottumkal, who is one of the few lucky actresses to have been accepted in both Bollywood and the South Indian film industry is keen on doing meaty performance oriented roles in Bollywood.

Though Asin has hits like Ghajini, London Dreams and Ready to her credit, she is looking forward to do more performance oriented films in mainstream commercial cinema which will showcase her acting prowess.

Asin Thottumkal, while speaking to a leading news agency said, “Rather than concentrating only on niche cinema where you get better roles or concentrating only in commercial roles, where usually you don't have much to do, the ideal would be to get a mix of both."
