Imran-Kareena in Ek Main Aur Ek Tu: First Look

Oneindia brings to you the first look of the upcoming Dharma Productions film Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu. The film will feature actors Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor, first time ever in the silver screen. Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu will mark as the debut direction of newcomer Shakun Batra and will be produced under Karan Johar's Dharma Productions banner.

Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu is scheduled to go on floors in December of this year. Director Shakun Bhatra, who worked as an assistant director in the film Rock On, has earlier worked with Imran in his debut film Jaane Tu Ya Jaana Na. Imran informs, “I am doing another film with Karan Johar. The film will be directed by Shakun, who has been a friend ever since he joined the industry and was a second assistant director on Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. He has written the script with our mutual friend Ayesha."

Reportedly it was Imran who suggested Shakun's name to filmmaker Karan and later KJo offered Kareena the lead role. The actress agreed to do the film as she is close to Karan and mainly because it gave her a chance to work with Imran Khan. Both Imran and Kareena in the past had individually expressed that they are keen on work together in a film. This out-and-out love story, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, comes as a wish come true for the actors.

It is touted that the film will release this coming Valentine (February 14, 2012). It must be noted that nothing about the release of the film has been official confirmed. The pairing looks fresh and we are hopeful that it will entertain the audience with their love story in Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu.
