Going by the trends, wherein Salman has booked himself the Eid slot (Wanted, Dabangg success), Aamir has opted for the Christmas slot (Taare Zameen Par, Guzaarish, Ghajini success) and Shahrukh has chosen the Diwali slot (Om Shanti Om, My Name Is Khan success) for their releases, Imran has gone ahead and has booked himself the first week of July. Considering the fact that his biggest hits in the past, Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na and I Hate Love Storys, had released in the first week of July, Imran and Aamir took a conscious decision of releasing the upcoming film Delhi Belly in the same duration.
"Well, I won't deny that we didn't keep in mind the factors that you just mentioned", smiles Imran while talking to Bollywood Hungama, "This timing has worked for me over the years so I have been conscious about continuing this for my future films as well." Joining the release date league of the top Khans in the industry, Imran denies that it is not a superstition, but a kind of symmetry that is building up in the industry. “This is a good date. Who wouldn't want to score a hat trick?" reasons Imran.
Delhi Belly is a sex comedy, which has been directed by Abhinay Deo. Produced by Aamir Khan Productions and UTV Motion Pictures, the film stars Imran Khan, Vir Das, Kunnal Roy Kapur, Poorna Jagannathan and Shenaz Treasurywala. The film is all set to hit the screens this Friday (July 1, 2011).
Actor Imran Khan, who is just three years and five films old in the Bollywood industry is all set to join the Khan's league. When we say Khans in B-Town, it means none-other-than Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan. The actor believes that there is something in common between him and the top Khans.
