However, all that seems nothing than baseless rumour as Madhuri Dixit speaks out in a telephonic chat with the Times of India.
Clearing the air on the speculation if recession is the reason behind their decision to relocate, Madhuri Dixit said that her husband Dr Nene, who is a US citizen and a cardiovascular surgeon, is in a profession that will always be in demand.
Revealing about Dr Sriram Nene's fascination towards India, Madhuri said that he would love to see the Howrah Bridge in Kolkata, Shimla in Himachal Pradesh, the Charminar in Hyderabad and the Ajmer Shariff dargah in Rajasthan.
Going by what we know, we understand that the relocation would be most difficult for Madhuri's husband, Dr Sriram Madhav Nene as he is a US citizen settled and brought up in the United States of America. Besides, he has a flourishing business in the States. While Madhuri's children Ryan and Ayan can easily adjust, considering that they are still kids, Madhuri of course has spend most part of her life in Mumbai. Also, she has also been shuttling on and off between the two countries for some time now.
However, Madhuri Dixit Nene is very optimistic and told TOI, “Yes, the transition is difficult and emotional too but once you know what you are doing you can adapt and get used to the change. Also, Ram is easy-going and very friendly by nature, so he can adapt himself to any social and work culture comfortably. He has always loved India and he wants the children to grow up in an Indian culture."
Madhuri also revealed that her parents, who now stay with them in Denver are keen to return to their homeland.
Madhuri is sad to leave Denver, her home for the past ten years and so are her children, Ryan and Arin. While they are sad about leaving their friends behind in the US, they are equally excited about making new friends in India.
While Madhuri gets set to return to Mumbai in the first week of October, all her fans want to know if she would return to films. Speaking about taking up a full time career, Madhuri said, “I will do something that makes me happy and excites me. Kids will always be my priority. I will never be so busy that I don't have time to look after them."
While Madhuri Dixit and family are busy packing their bags to return to their home in Juhu, the Nene family will not sell their beautiful house with garden in Denver. Madhuri said, “The world has become a smaller place and one can always go back and forth."
Madhuri Dixit's decision to relocate to India has sparked off many speculations. While some cited recession in the US to be the reason behind their return, there were even rumours of Madhuri Dixit Nene separating from her husband Dr Sriram Madhav Nene.
