Salman Khan escapes landing in a coma

Hard core fans of Salman Khan would be shocked and relieved at the same time to hear that Salman's decision to go to the United States of America for the surgery to rectify his nerve disorder saved him from landing in a coma.

Salman Khan is back in India shooting for Bigg Boss 5 and Ek Tha Tiger opposite Katrina Kaif. However, all these could happen only due to the surgery that happened at the right time as otherwise Salman also would have landed in the same situation as singer Jagjit Singh.

Speaking to a leading daily, Salman Khan, who is suffering from Trigeminal Neuralgia for the last seven years said, “I"ve recovered about 60 per cent. There"s no sure fire method to cure this. But in hindsight, if I had delayed the surgery, let"s say for another year, who knows? I would have landed in a coma, the way Jagjit Singh is right now."

Though Salman Khan has been advised rest by the doctor and has been asked to travel as less as possible, Sallu says that it is impossible to avoid travelling completely as Ek Tha Tiger requires him to shoot in several international locations. Speaking of Sanjay Dutt, his co-host in Bigg Boss 5, Salman says, “And I can"t leave Baba alone on the show."

Salman Khan apparently will have to undergo another operation later in the year or early next year.
