Sonam Kapoor elaborates on her 'gay' remark on Kareena Kapoor

Sonam Kapoor made headlines when she stated in an interview, "I wouldn't mind turning gay for Kareena." The media of course decided to blow the statement out of proportion, even questioning Sonam's sexual preferences!

However, when TOI caught up with the young actress, Sonam Kapoor just laughed it off and replied, "I was on a spree of giving interviews for Mausam. The TV was switch on, and the promo of Bodyguard was being aired. Kareena Kapoor looked beautiful, and I went 'I wouldn't mind turning gay for Kareena'."

When asked if there was any female Dostana in the making, Sonam Kapoor immediately replied with a “NO".

Sonam added that all she meant with her statement was that Kareena was good looking. Sonam Kapoor went on to give more examples of good looking women, listing Katrina and Angelina Jolie among the few. The gorgeous actress humbly left off her name from the list!
