Aishwarya Rai-Abhishek Bachchan celebrate five years of togetherness!

One of the most beautiful couples of Bollywood, Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan are celebrating their Fifth anniversary today.

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan tied the knot five years back on April 20, 2007. Their star studded wedding was no less than a fairytale.

After all, Aishwarya Rai is the most beautiful woman in the world and Abhishek Bachchan is her Prince charming. But this would be Abhishek and Aishwarya's happiest anniversary and we all know the reason. This year they are blessed with a baby girl fondly known as Beti B.

Abhi-Ash’s romance is just like a Bollywood movie. It has lots of suspense, romance and drama. Their love story began six years ago on the sets of JP Dutta's Umrao Jaan.

Abhishek Bachchan once revealed that he used to stand on the balcony of his hotel room (when he was filming in New York) and used to think about Aishwarya Rai and their marriage. So, after the premiere of the film Guru, he took her to the very same balcony and asked Aishwarya to marry him.

After coming back to Mumbai, the couple got engaged on January 14, at the Bachchan's residence. From then the guessing game began as everyone wanted to know when and where the wedding would take place. After much speculation Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya's wedding took place on April 20, 2007!

The gorgeous couple celebrated their first anniversary in Miami. Interestingly, a video conference was specially arranged for them to promote their film Sarkar Raj from Miami.

In the conference, Abhishek Bachchan told media about the best gift of his life, he said, “My father's best gift to me has been his blessings and his acceptance of the lady I wanted to marry a year ago." When Aishwarya Rai was asked to comment on the same, she said that both she and Abhishek had gifted each other 'togetherness' for a lifetime.

Aishwarya and Abhishek you truly are the Brangelina (Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie) of Bollywood. And after seeing how much you love each other, even after so many years of marriage, we can only say one thing....And they lived happily ever after!
