Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor - Who is the best father?

Father means so many things, right from the start, he is kind, understanding, a source of strength and support and encouragement. Bollywood also has some very supportive and encouraging fathers.

Amitabh Bachchan: Amitabh Bachchan, a great actor, has always been alongside son Abhishek Bachchan. This father-son jodi is considered as the best jodi, not only onscreen but also offscreen. They were even awarded at STAR Screen Awards as Jodi no. 1 for their wonderful chemistry in Paa. They were seen in many movies together like Paa, Sarkar and Banti aur Babli. In Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, Big B was seen in a title track and, now both dad and son are all set to rock the screen together in other song in the movie Bol Bachchan.

Many a times, Abhishek on behalf of father Big B is seen tweeting. They also watch each other's film and compliment. It is said that Big B was happy with Abhi's performance in Refugee and said, 'Well done.'

A source also quoted Abhishek praising his dad that his dad is very patient and he (his dad) never raised his hand or voice at him. Abhi also said that his dad is his best friend and he can talk about anything to him. He also feels that his dad is just perfect.

Rishi Kapoor: Rishi Kapoor has always been supportive to Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir Kapoor is following the footsteps of his father Rishi Kapoor. No wonder Rishi, in his times, was a heartthrob of millions, and now Ranbir is following the same with his charming looks and acts.

This father-son duo, for the first time, was seen together in the Pepsi commercial. Recently, they performed at the 13th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards. They were seen competing on songs of their respective times and finally son Ranbir accepted his defeat.

Previously, when Sonam Kapoor made fun of his son Ranbir Kapoor on Koffee With Karan show, dad Rishi was very upset and blasted Sonam and blamed host Karan Johar for prompting. He was so much upset that he asked director Ayan Mukerjee to either choose Ranbir Kapoor or Karan Johar.

They also compliment each other's work. Dad Rishi Kapoor was overwhelmed with the kind of response his son got for the movie Wake Up Sid and said that he feels proud as Ranbir's father.

Not only this, Ranbir had also praised his father Rishi's performance in the movie Agneepath and said that his dad's passion for work inspires him to do better.

Anil Kapoor: Anil Kapoor has always been supportive and encouraging to his daughter Sonam Kapoor. This father-daughter jodi were seen together as a brand ambassadors for EMGEE and also in Mont Blanc Pens ad. Sonam was also seen in the movie Aisha directed by dad Anil Kapoor and produced by sister Rhea Kapoor.

When dad Anil was asked to comment on daughter Sonam being a fashion icon, he said that Sonam loves wearing good clothes and people make a dig at that too. And whenever Sonam feels low he advises her not to worry and see the positive side. He had also said that girls are jealous of her.

He took Sonam's side, when Rishi Kapoor blasted her (Sonam had made fun of Ranbir on the TV show Koffee With Karan and Rishi Kapoor was very upset about it), by saying Rishi needs to take it lightly and sportingly.

Even Sonam supported her dad. She said that her dad looks young, is a rock star and full of energy. Also when there was rumour that her dad had Botox for his Hollywood career, she denied it.
