The Bachchans stand up against nasty remarks over Aishwarya Rai's weight gain

Beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has time and again hit the headlines for her post pregnancy flab. But, such nasty remarks, rude comments over her weight gain, never affected the gorgeous Ash. She handled it all perfectly with her 'no care' attitude and a dignified silence. But, it looks like the Bachchan men are not ready to digest the matter so easily.

A few days back, Amitabh Bachchan wrote in his blog how he is amazed by the worldwide interest in celebrity lifestyle. He also wrote, "If you are celebrity, this is the cross you shall perforce have to carry with a smile. Do no wrong and you shall be safe, but be prepared for the worst even when a small wrong has been done." It's evident that the Big B is very upset with the public obsession over his daughter-in-law's weight gain programme.

On the other hand, Aishwarya's loving hubby Abhishek too is pretty hurt with such public remarks. In the past, every time, the new mommy Ash made a public apprearance, media had pounced on her for her ever-increasing size. Aishwarya's weight gain almost became a national issue in India, until the day when the lady surprised the world with her stunning appearance at the Cannes Film Festival. Ash just looked fab and much leaner at the Red Carpet. It was a slap on the faces of all her detractors, who had left no stone unturned to humiliate her with hurting remarks.

Whatever the issue might be, Aishwarya is no less than a Goddess in our country. Even after gaining oodles of weight after her baby delivery, Mrs Junior Bachchan still remains a diva. No matter what, Ash is a true legend, who has reached to the zenith of success, both nationally and internationally. Hence, just like Amitabh and Abhishek, even we feel that the Ash's weight gain issue needs to calm down, as no man on this earth would appreciate intrusion in their own personal space.
