Shocking deaths of Bollywood stars in 2012

In 2012, many Bollywood stars bid their final adieu to the world. It was shocking for their fans to accept that their favourite star has gone forever. But these stars will always be missed and would be remembered for their memorable work and their contribution to the Hindi film industry.

Legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra died of dengue on October 21, 2012. Yash Chopra began his career as an assistant director to IS Johar and his elder brother, BR Chopra. He made his directorial debut with Dhool Ka Phool in 1959.

Actor Rajesh Khanna died at his home in Mumbai on July 18, 2012. He was 69. Rajesh Khanna was suffering from cancer for a long time. He is survived by his wife Dimple and two daughters. Rajesh Khanna became the first superstar of India by giving 15 consecutive solo hit films in the 1970s, which is a record till today.
