Twitter is a platform for celebrities to communicate with their fans. But since its inception, Twitter has also become an outlet for the stars to blow off some steam. Many Bollywood celebrities even used it to settle their personal scores. So, we decided to compile a list of the wildest and craziest Twitter fights. Check it out!

Bipasha Basu vs Amisha Patel
At IIFA 2011, Amisha Patel and Bipasha Basu were caught wearing the same dress.

Shocked Bipasha tweeted, "a fellow actress landed up wearing the same dress in a different color as me! Amusing even for me... So next time I'll plan my green carpet outfit in advance and not pull out things out of my cupboard last minute... Anyways you can't stop the world from buying the same things and keep a tab on all!"

Furious Amisha replied, "I don't need to copy anyone. I'm really unaffected. I don't care if ten people wear [the] same outfit because clothes don't make a person.Yet fake b***s do!”

Rajeev Masand vs Amitabh Bachchan

Film critic Rajeev Masand called Akshay Kumar a "jackass" after Akshay paid a visit to ailing cartoonist RK Laxman.

Masand wrote on Twitter , "Need innovative ideas to promote films in competitive times. But Akshay Kumar grinning like a jackass at R.K. Laxman's hospital bed is a new low."

Amitabh did not like it and tweeted, "Rajeev...your fraternity will never pull you up for calling Akshay a 'jackass'. Ever thought if the reverse were to be done...would your fraternity have spared Akshay if he were to address you as one? Never expected this language from you."

Masand replied back, "Dear Sir, Let's consider - 'if my fraternity won't pull me up for that 'jackass' comment, could it possibly be because they see some sense in my comment? Or could it be because that's what fraternity does: Stands by each other? You should know, Sir. I don't remember your fraternity pulling you up for the attack on photographers by security outside your house during Abhishek's wedding. I don't remember your fraternity so much as expressing outrage when Abhishek 'allegedly' bashed up a photographer on a film set. But your concern sir, is the use of the term 'jackass'."

Minissha Lamba vs Shobhaa De

After Minissha got detained by Mumbai customs for failing to declare jewellery worth Rs 50,000, Shobhaa De tweeted, “Poor Minissha: Lamba race ki ghodi or lame duck? Warning to other Bollywood wannabes to leave those borrowed rocks at home. Dazzle wt yr talent (sic)."

Minissha retorted, "Ms De, real writers write books. Slandering on #Twitter is a job of the less gifted. 'Dazzle with your talent' Ms.De, Not ur slander ;)"

Ram Gopal Varma vs Karan Johar

Ram Gopal Varma never missed a chance to take a dig at Karan Johar.

"I want to remake 'Raavan' and I want to request Mani to remake (Ram Gopal Varma Ki) Aag'," Ramu posted after Mani Ratnam's Raavan released.

It was followed by another post, "I (have) got a better idea... I will make 'My name is Raavan' and Mani should make 'Raavan Ki Kurbaan'."

An angry Karan Johar replied, "You have an amazing sense of humour Ramu (Varma)! Never shows up in your films though."

To which Ramu tweeted, "Karan, because of the constant bashing I receive, I developed my sense of humour as a defence mechanism. And talking of my films not having humour, check out the great comedy I made called 'RGV Ki Aag'."

Chitrangda Singh vs Poonam Pandey

A Chitrangada imposter tweeted about Poonam Pandey, 'How do you compete with Poonam Pandey, when she is ready strip for kabbadi matches?'

Thinking it was Chitrangada, Poonam replied, "TweetHearts!!! there is this Actress she had 700 followers since many months started using my name now has 1300+ in a day ... hahah how cheap any one can be arrey yaar itna bhi "Garib" mat bano :P'

Anurag Kashyap vs Arbaaz Khan

When Abhinav Kashyap was asked to step down as director of the Dabangg sequel, his brother Anurag Kashyap tweeted, “Salman Khan thinks he made my brother's life. Hope he does the same for Arbaaz when he does Dabangg 2. All The Best.”

Arbaaz, slammed Abhinav, “Instead of GRATTITUDE some people show ATTITUDE. Wah kya zamana aa gaya hai. Time will tell. Kabhi asliat ko bahar aane mein time lagta hai.”

Shirish Kunder vs Shahrukh Khan

This is not exactly a Twitter fight but it definitely started on Twitter, when Shirish took a dig at Shahrukh Khan and his movie Ra.One. Shirish tweeted, "I just heard a 150 cr firework fizzle."

And we all know what happened later – SRK slapped Shirish!!
