Jab Tak Hai Jaan (starring Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma) and Son of Sardar (starring Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay Dutt) released on the same day - November 13th. Even before its release, there was high level of tension between the two films which were competing for equal screens.
While most critics raved Yash Raj Films Jab Tak Hai Jaan (JTHJ), Son of Sardar (SOS) received mixed reviews. While JTHJ is a soft romantic film, SOS gave the audience loads of masala and maar dhaar!
We conducted a poll on our website to ask which of the two movie they enjoyed watching most - JTHJ or SOS? While 46% people liked the SRK starrer film, 44% felt SOS was better. Still 10% viewers felt that none of the two films was worth watching.

#Son Of Sardar is an assault at our intellect. Only thing worth watching is smiling Juhi Chawla. Seriously disappointed with Ajay Devgan & d cast.

#Ajay Devgn might have improved as an actor but his film #Son of Sardar was a sheer WASTE of time!!!

Katrina Kaif dances like a dream and @iamsrk will always be my favourite romantic hero. No one can match his intensity.

#SonOfSardar is a celebration of the sardars. Fun filled, no frills attached, typical diwali entertainer. 3/5 stars.

The movie goes on for eternity. Lacks depth. #JabTakHaiJaan.

Son of Sardar - First 30 minutes were fun, but afterwards it was 'when-will-this-end' torture. Marketing dictates Bollywood success these days.
