Pakistani actress Meera to quit acting after marriage?

With confirmed reports about actress Meera getting married to a Pakistani-Amercian pilot Naveed Pervez, rumours are rife that she might quit acting for good.

Meera"s contribution and success in Pakistani cinema has been humongous and for years, she has reigned at the top of the filmmaking industry there. So much, so that she has been touted the 'Aishwarya Rai of Pakistan".

She tried her luck in Bollywood with Mahesh Bhatt"s film Nazar. But the failed debut film has since remained her only significant achievement in Hindi cinema.

Though her career refused to take off in a big way in India, her dramatic antics and various controversies have always kept the Hindi filmgoers amused and entertained. If she calls it quits, it will surely be a loss to the Pakistani film industry as well as the Bollywood grapevine.

The actress has already admitted that her engagement ceremony would be held this month in Lahore. For the first time in her life Meera even admitted, she met her beau Naveed Pervez three years ago and fell in love with him at first sight.
