Bollywood actors Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma on Wednesday started the promotion of Yash Chopra's last film Jab Tak Hai Jaan from the filmmaker's hometown Jalandhar. Yash Chopra belonged to Jalandhar and did his studies from Doaba college here.
Jab Tak Hai Jaan's cast visited the college to promote the movie as a tribute to the master director. "Yashji spent his youth days here and studied in this college. I am lucky to promote this film here and I request you all to go and watch the film. I am fortunate to stand at a place from where a legend started his journey and studied," said Shahrukh Khan.
Actresses Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma also paid tribute saying they are fortunate to come to the city where Chopra lived. Chopra died on October 21, following multi-organ failure resulting from complications that arose after he contracted dengue. He was 80. He had completed the entire shooting of Jab Tak Hai Jaan except for a song. The film releases on Diwali, November 13.
